Let's Catch Up- Shall We?

There isn't much to say about last week other than it was crazy with a capital c! I feel like I say that every weekend when I sit down and realize I haven't blogged anything in over a week, but this week I really mean it.

I won't bore you with the details of why this last week constitutes a crazy weekend, but lets just say that I am glad that this upcoming is vacation weekend for me... which can also mean it is "catching up on editing, blogging, cleaning house, laundry, projects and other misc. task" weekend.

So, lets start with Hunter. A senior session that was so fun. I used to work with his mom, Heather, and I was so excited when she called to set up his session. We started at a local park and ended up by a windmill covered with ivy. Go figure.

More on this one to come later. I just have to share those blue eyes at some point!

Now, lets talk two of the sweetest siblings I ever did see. Danielle and Justin. Their parents did good. These two never complained once... no arguments, sighs or rolling eyes all evening. Justin even came back after we finished with him to do more with his sis. That is when you just shoot and let them work out the rest aka my favorite type of photos.

Then there was Jessica+Curtis+Penny+Chewy. We met downtown OKC for a super fun session partly featuring the doggies.

And, to finish off the weekend I got to attend the prettiest backyard wedding reception ever. Bud and Samantha are going to the beach to get married at the end of the month, but celebrated the wedding day with their friends and family this afternoon.

I am so thankful for this sweet family. Sometimes it can be hard to walk into a house full of people you don't know very well to capture the special moments in their lives. Sometimes uncomfortable, but sometimes it is wonderful. And, today was wonderful. Thank you Terri, Guin, Bud and Samantha for your kindness today and making me feel so welcomed (and thank you for dinner and cake too!)
