The story behind B.Davis Photography is very anticlimactic and in fact it all started as a bit of a joke.
As an agricultural communications major at Oklahoma State University, I took a photography class. When we finished our weekly assignment, we had to drop our files into a folder on the shared network. Well, I jokingly changed my folder name to “B.Davis Photography” and it stuck.
For the past 6 years, I have been on this photography journey and for the first time in those 6 years, I am a full-time photographer and freelance designer.
So, other than being a photographer and designer, I am a jewelry hoarder, dog mom, donut lover and the Frilly Farm Wife. I have an obsession with turquoise and love taking pictures of everything on the farm, where my love for photography all started.
I have always enjoyed wedding photography, but since getting married myself, I have a new found love for the beautiful thing that is a day dedicated to celebrating love.
Whether it is a wedding or portrait session, my goal is always the same. I want to capture the beauty that is right in front of me and strive to shoot everything as if I was shooting it for myself.
A Bit More:
I am married to a sweet guy who makes me laugh all the time. He is also pretty tall (like 6’5 tall) so I never have to worry about getting anything off the top shelf again or getting the ladder out to change a light bulb.
