Lucy's Photo Shoot

Lucy and I have a serious love/hate relationship with taking pictures ... and I mean this as in I love it and she hates it! She is getting a little better, well and I mean that if you say "Papa and Nana" she may look at the camera for .2 seconds, but then it is over ... like she is over it.

I managed to get her to look a couple of times during this outing, but I think the bow made her hate her life or at least she looked like that anyways. Maybe one day bows won't be such a horrible, awful part of life.

Lightning Strikes ... and Only a Little Scared

I have tried and tried and tried and tried some more to get a cool lightning picture and it never would work. Finally, I got one. Of course, I missed the really cool ones with more than one strike, but I was excited to finally capture one before chickening out and running inside!

#tbt

Being as today is "throwback  Thursday," I thought I would throwback to one of my favorite cake smash sessions with one of my favorite girls.

Zaylie turned one almost a year ago and I had the pleasure of taking her pictures. She never disappoints. She is the sweetest and the cutest little one. And, her mom and I just set up her two year birthday pictures to take place at the end of the month! I am oh so excited to take her Minnie Mouse inspired photos and I have a couple of new things I am planning on trying out on Miss Zaylie! Can't wait to see you girls on the 20th!

A Caddo County Engagement

This weekend, I had the chance to spend a couple of hours with the awesome Tyler and Sara! They are such a fun couple to be around and I absolutely can't wait to photograph their wedding in July... and Sara's bridal photos!

I had so many favorite from their session, but I will settle on sharing just these in order to not overwhelm news feeds! ;)

#weekend10

I found this awesome blog post today and of course I have have have to join in! I have been wanting dreaming of a fancy, pretty camera bag for months and months!!! I mean these would be  perfect for my upcoming traveling extravaganzas!

The task is to post 10 pictures from the weekend. This should be easy considering how much I have been playing with my new 85mm lens practically three times a day since I got my camera!

Spending some time at Medicine Park-- One of my most favorite places!

A cute mom/me session!
Lucy is my forever model when I get new lens!

Two good friends graduated from vet school this weekend!

My best friend is a doctor ... weird! ;)

Dr. Jeter!
Typical Brenna/Brody Picture-- And, I wouldn't have it any other way!
P.S. I know you can't see my whole maxi skirt... But I made it! ;)
Thanks for stopping by to see my weekend 10! I kind of cheated and started my 10 including Friday, but the weekend was too exciting not to include my Friday!

Hope you all had a great weekend!

Sunsets

If you look at my Facebook feed, you will easily see that I am slightly obsessed with sunsets. Mainly because they are so beautiful, but some because they are always there and I have an awesome view now that I am back in the 405.

So, tonight I thought I would share a few of my favorites shots, as of late.

Pecos Lynne {an invitation}

I love designing things, even though I don't get to do it as often as I would like. Logos, business cards, invitation, prints ... anything! You name it!

Since I have had more time recently, I have really been wanting to take on new projects like this! And, by referral (thank you, Lori) I had the chance to design a sweet little shower invite for Pecos Lynne.

This little cowboy is going to be so cute, I can already tell! His invitation was so fun to make and I am excited to share it! We blended a few different ideas from his aunts to get the perfect design as the finished product! I am so excited I can finally share it with you today!

I never thought I would enjoy drawing in Illustrator, but it has become one of my favorite things to do! However, I will admit... I ended up taking a couple of different bronc riders to make this one perfect. There was no way I could attempt to draw that horse and rider. Well, I did attempt it and it looked awwwwwful!

Thanks to Heidi, Amber and Ashley for trusting me with this project!

On design deck, I have two logos in the works, a wedding invitation and a couple more exciting announcements! Stay tuned!
